Our New Director of University Counselling and Student Success

We are delighted to introduce Bridget Moore as the newest member of the Lyford Cay International School team. Bridget will join us as Director of University Counselling and Student Success in August, a key role supporting our students through the college admissions process. Bringing with her an exceptional depth of experience, a global perspective, and a passion for student development, she will begin working with families of current Grade 11 students immediately to help them navigate the college search process.

Bridget comes to us from Groton School, recently recognized as the #1 ranked school in the United States, where she served as Associate Director of College Counselling, guiding students through the complex landscape of college admissions, supporting their curricular journey, and building strong relationships with colleges and universities around the world. The top five most common universities at which Groton graduates have matriculated in recent years include Harvard University, Yale University, the University of Chicago, Georgetown University and Boston College.

She brings not only technical expertise in university counselling but also admissions and student pathways, helping young people discover their strengths, shape their narratives, and pursue futures full of possibility. Prior to Groton, Bridget held several leadership roles in admissions at Tufts University, including Associate Director of Admission, Director of International Admission and Strategic Pathways, and Interim Director of Graduate Admissions. She oversaw international student recruitment and application strategy, built strategic partnerships, led teams of admission professionals, and championed efforts to expand access to higher education for students from all backgrounds.

She is a graduate of Hamilton College and has a Master’s degree in International Higher Education from Boston College, reflecting her dedication to both the student experience and the global nature of learning. Her warmth, energy, and extraordinary commitment to students have been evident throughout her career. Her track record speaks to her ability to lead, mentor, and inspire — qualities we deeply value at LCIS.

We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank Dr Michèle Mindorff for her many years of service at LCIS and her support of our students as she prepares to depart LCIS next week.

Bridget will be joining LCIS with her husband, Paul Ryan, who will also serve as our Development Director. Paul is a seasoned development professional with over 15 years of experience in higher education and independent schools. He currently serves as Director of Major Gifts at the Groton School. They have two daughters who will be enrolling at LCIS.

Please join us in giving Bridget a warm LCIS welcome. We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the many ways she will contribute to our community.
